A downloadable game

Note: This project is indefinitely on hold. I've uploaded it here from an old BGG thread for the sake of archiving and to make the game easier to access. Maybe I'll work on it again if it gets enough interest.

This is a two player CDG wargame set in hypothetical situations within the Touhou Project universe. Players will take control of opposing sides in a conflict and try to make their side win.

Features:

• A relatively simple wargame suitable for beginners.
• Unlike most CDGs, you may use OPs and events when playing a card.
• Influence Neutral Characters to fight for you, gaining access to their counter and card. With the advanced rules, you build the deck with aligned Characters.
• Characters may impact the results of a battle through use of their events.

Playing Guide:

Core Texts contain the rules, scenarios, player aid, and components guide. You need this file to be able to play.

There are three options for playing the game.

You can make a physical version with Print and Play Materials.zip
You can play through VASSAL with IoOF_v1_0.vmod. Have VASSAL installed, then open the .vmod file. (This method is completely free)
You can play the Tabletop Simulator module, setting up through the Steam Workshop version, or manually installing the preset scenario modules from Tabletop Simulator Modules.zip
